First Responders Undercover Law Enforcement

Advanced Cryptocurrency Investigations

Cryptocurrency crimes continue to evolve as more and more criminals utilize bitcoin and altcoins to carry out their illicit activities. These crimes range from trafficking activities on the dark web to fraudulent activity and scams on regulated cryptocurrency exchanges. There has also been a tremendous uptick in criminals using NFT’s and staking platforms to launder proceeds of criminal activity.

Advanced Narcotic Operations

Covert operations are extremely unpredictable and have the potential to turn deadly in a split second. Many covert operations proactively target the worst criminals operating in communities by using undercover law enforcement officers or confidential informants. Unfortunately, the UC or CI often becomes the victim of a robbery, kidnapping, or other violent act. Initially, the UC or CI must aggressively fight or utilize stall tactics to save their life.

Advanced Undercover Techniques for the Narcotics Officer

This “practical scenario” training has been designed to complement and expand the one week Basic Undercover Techniques for the Narcotics Officer course. Each student will receive an unique exposure and practical application to real undercover situations in a safe and evaluated environment. The goal is to provide training to officer in an effort to make sure every undercover officer gets home to their loved ones each and every night.

Basic Narcotics Investigations

This course will be instructed in a format which includes classroom lessons enhanced by practical exercises in which the students are immersed in a mock basic narcotics investigation. Students will learn the primary facets of a basic investigation to provide them with the knowledge, skills, and practical experience to implement in the field.

Basic Undercover Techniques for the Narcotics Officer

This course has been designed to complement the experienced undercover officer as well as bring a "new" undercover up to a level of awareness, safety and knowledge that is required of those seasoned undercovers. The course covers effective recruitment and utilization of informants, identifying safety considerations and unique problems associated with undercover work, addressing the psychological challenges of undercover work, identifying difficult undercover situations and demonstrating methods to resolve them (drugs, alcohol, sex, and other crimes), understanding prosecutorial guidelines, regulations and entrapment issues, discussing risk management of undercover operations, examine key issues in the supervision of undercover units and personnel, demonstrating techniques for infiltration of transnational criminal organizations, identifying and demonstrating briefing and debriefing technique and professional documentation/courtroom preparation and testimony.  Maybe most important is how criminals identify Undercover Officers as Law Enforcement.

Bulletproof Mind

BULLETPROOF MIND is a presentation in which Lt. Col. Grossman presents a model for action that ensures professionals can train for and overcome the unique mental stressors of possible violence. Find out what to expect when your heart rate rises and blood drains from your face, and how to avoid it.

Cell Phone Investigation Techniques

It has become increasingly difficult for law enforcement to successfully exploit cell phones due to the evolution of smartphone technology. Criminals' heavy reliance on cell phones makes it crucial for police officers to learn common cell phone terminology and understand the data they receive from cell phone companies. Historical cell-site data and specialized location records have been utilized in hundreds of investigations to successfully track a criminal or put them near a crime scene.

Courtroom Testimony

This course is designed to improve your skills in testimony, increase your awareness of the court system processes, and help you understand your role in describing the elements of the crime to a judge and jury in a reasonable light. The initial investigation, arrest, or traffic citation is only the beginning stage of a long legal process. The instructors in this class will discuss details involved in the phases of courtroom testimony such as pre-trial exams, civil lawsuit depositions, suppression hearings, expert testimony, and trial court testimony.

Cryptocurrency Investigations

This course will provide basic training on defining cryptocurrency and blockchain technologies, identifying and accessing storage locations, and basic skills and techniques for law enforcement officers working a cryptocurrency case. Narcotics cases and trends will be utilized to demonstrate patterns and methods of cryptocurrency identification and tracking techniques.

Current Fentanyl Threat

The current Fentanyl threat is being magnified by the use and abuse of Fentanyl. Fentanyl is quickly becoming one of the most dangerous and challenging drug-related threats to communities and law enforcement officers across the United States. This training course will focus on breaking down Fentanyl as well as the latest trends in packaging and distribution. An emphasis will be placed on how to prevent accidental exposure and possible overdose.
