Human Trafficking
This course covers 16 hours of first-hand experiences and findings within organizations engaged in criminal activities supported by human trafficking. Human trafficking, smuggling, prostitution and modern-day slavery is in the United States and prospering with very little resistance. Every student will understand the immigration process and how it is being fraudulently abused. Students will be able to identify possible fronts located in their prospective areas of operation and will learn interviewing techniques and questions needed to identify, investigate, infiltrate and convict these organizations.
Law Enforcement Intelligence
Law Enforcement Intelligence is a crucial aspect to combating crime in the 21st century. Modern day technology continues to evolve; however, law enforcement has been behind the curve. Unfortunately, many law enforcement agencies are attempting to fight current criminal activities with outdated methods. This course is designed to help bring officers and investigators up to speed with new technology trends and give them practical/applicable tools to successfully conduct online investigations involving open source and social media.
Leading and Managing a Task Force Unit
This course is for all levels of supervision, new or current supervisors assigned to a task force or drug unit. Supervisors will be taught using classroom instruction and tabletop exercises.
Low Light Tactical Training
This training will be designed to give narcotics operators information and skills to make them more effective, comfortable and confident operating in any level of light. This course will be conducted at night. Students are required to bring hand-held light.
Mexican Drug Cartel Investigations
Mexican Drug Trafficking Organizations are impacting communities in nearly every city in the United States. This problem can no longer be viewed as a “Border Issue.” The majority of the drugs distributed and consumed in the U.S. originate in Mexico. The cartel leaders have strategically formed relationships with American Street gangs to flood the streets with illicit drugs.
Mid-Level Narcotics Investigations
Basic narcotic training courses focus on drug identification, types of informants, operational planning, and search warrant execution. Advanced narcotic training courses focus on drug cartels, money laundering, complex conspiracy investigations, and interstate/international wiretap cases. While these two types of training programs are a necessary part of drug enforcement, there is a considerable gap in the training available to law enforcement officers that target mid-level drug dealers.
Opioid Awareness Seminar
The sudden rise in opioid and prescription narcotic deaths, both nationally and throughout the Commonwealth, has presented a unique challenge to local communities. The Opioid Awareness Seminar focuses on national, statewide and local trends relating to heroin, prescription opioids, and other opioid compounds. Overdose awareness, recognizing a potential addiction and community prevention/treatment programs will also be discussed providing a realization of how the opioid epidemic can affect the school environment and the community.
Opioid Threat in the Community
The sudden rise of heroin and prescription opioid deaths, both nationally and throughout the Commonwealth, has presented a unique challenge to local communities. Opioid Threat in the Community, designed for educators, community organizers, and healthcare personnel, focuses on national, statewide and local trends relating to heroin, prescription opioids, and other opioid compounds.

Phoenix Training - Addiction and Connection to Treatment
Those enrolled in this course will learn the principles of trauma informed practices and how to have positive interactions with those suffering from substance use disorder. Practical skills such as engagement techniques, Naloxone administration and how to connect individuals to treatment options will also be taught. Those who complete this training will have a better understanding of the disease of addiction and how they can be part of someone’s recovery.
Street Gang Investigations
This course explores the current trends, identifiers, and dynamics of street gang investigations. Understanding and identifying gang culture both on the street and in correctional facilities requires investigators from both local law enforcement and corrections to work together and share information. The intent of this course is to prepare officers in both large and small agencies to properly identify and interdict gang activity in their respective jurisdictions, collect and manage their gang intelligence, and communicate this information with neighboring jurisdictions and correctional facilities.
