Interview and Interrogation for Law Enforcement (Advanced)

Course Description:

This course is designed to complement and enhance the NCTC Behavioral Analysis/Interrogation training initiative. This course relies on participant interaction with peers and role-players to simulate the techniques and practices presented by the instructor. Students will be critiqued and analyzed through video-taped role-playing scenarios.

Upon successful completion of the course, students will be able to:

  1. Review and confirm the information (vocabulary, techniques, processes, etc.) from Interview and Interrogation
  2. Use neuro-linguistic/eye assessment training to determine what primary representational system an individual uses during everyday interactions with others as well as determination of eidetic and/or creative assessment into their long-term memories
  3. Understand the historical background for neuro-linguistic/eye assessment training as well as the practical application regarding law enforcement interactions and its use during the interview and interrogation milieu
  4. Improve methods of approach and investigative development

Prerequisites: Interview and Interrogation for Law Enforcement (Basic)

Course Length: 3 days / 24 hours

Who May Attend: Law/Code Enforcement, Corrections, Military (SF and MP only) Exceptions (I7I-115SFS [WI] Authorized)
