Tactics for Narcotic Warrants
Course Description:
A common goal of most narcotic investigations is to execute search warrants to recover illicit drugs and contraband discovered during the investigation. Unfortunately, narcotic-related search warrants are one of the most dangerous types of planned operations conducted by law enforcement agencies across the United States. A narcotic entry team must receive proper and continual training to help minimize the risks associated with the operation.
This four-day high intensity course will train narcotic entry teams on the various components of executing narcotic-related search warrants. This course will focus on all phases of warrant service from operational planning to executing the warrant. Various entry team options will be presented to ensure agencies are trained in techniques consistent with the most up-to-date and best practices across the United States.
To replicate real-life scenarios, class participants will participate in various scenarios. This is a Simunition-based training. Class participants should dress in a manner suitable for this type of training. All protective gear, Simunition weapons, and duty belts will be provided.
